Brandon, FL
The premium fiber cement choice — fire, rot, and hurricane resistant.
James Hardie fiber cement siding — commonly known as Hardie Board — is the gold standard in premium siding for Florida homes. Engineered to withstand the most demanding climate conditions, Hardie Board looks like natural wood but is built to last through decades of Florida heat, humidity, heavy rain, and tropical storms without rotting, cracking, or warping.
At Sharp Edge Siding of Brandon, we are experienced Hardie Board installers serving homeowners throughout the Tampa Bay area. We follow James Hardie's precise installation requirements — proper fastening, sealing, and flashing — to ensure the system performs as warranted and looks flawless for years to come.
Unlike vinyl siding, Hardie Board can be painted any color — and holds paint significantly longer than wood. It's available in a variety of profiles including HardiePlank lap siding, HardieShingle siding, and HardiePanel vertical siding, giving you design flexibility that rivals any other cladding material on the market.
Hardie Board is non-combustible — it won't ignite or contribute fuel to a fire, providing a significant safety advantage.
Fiber cement doesn't rot, and it's indigestible to termites and other wood-boring pests — a critical advantage in Florida.
James Hardie products meet Florida's stringent wind resistance requirements and are approved by the Florida Building Commission.
Choose from James Hardie's pre-painted ColorPlus technology or paint any custom color. Paint holds 2x longer than on wood.
James Hardie backs their products with a 30-year non-prorated limited warranty — the strongest in the industry.
Hardie Board profiles replicate the look of natural wood grain at the microscopic level — the beauty of wood, none of the headaches.
